The Carmelite Friar Discernment Weekend is a time to relax, pray, and ask
questions about God. The two main focuses of the weekend are to explore
consecrated religious life in the Church, and to find out about the Carmelite Friars.
The schedule includes Mass, Office of Readings, community meals and recreation,
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, and Praying with Scripture.
You will have the chance to meet other people who may be called to live a life in allegiance to Jesus Christ in a community of Friars. If this sounds interesting to you, it may be that God is calling you to something radical. Come and see if this is God’s will for you.
